Here is a short and helpful guide to get you started with your request. By proceeding, it means you have read, understood and agreed to the contents of this page. No need to click anything. When you continue, it assumes you accept the contents of this page, especially the FAQs, when you send us a message and/or settled the fee only via PayPal (which also has a link to this Assessment Guide and Agree Link).

Also always indicate the services paid for, especially if on top of the standard assessment. Kindly make sure it is an item we check by referring to to the ‘Items Checked’ section below. Please send us a message with a copy of the payment confirmation.

1) Standard: required US$5

ADD-ON SERVICES

4) Certificate of Assessment (COA): additional US$5
• An electronic document (PDF file) reflecting our opinion on the item
• COA may be purchased separately within 30 days. Beyond, it will be US$10
Turnaround time: 6 hours after providing assessment result. For Expedited COA within 2 hours from the result, total additional fee is US$10.

5) Item Valuation: additional US$5
• Gives an estimated value of the item on the market based from its condition
Turnaround time: 2 hours

6) Identification: additional US$5
• Identify the item’s correct name
Turnaround time: 2 hours

PLANS

1) Micro Plan: US$25
• Total 6 services (5 regular services + 1 free service)

2) Small Plan: US$50
• Total 13 services (10 regular services + 3 free services)

3) Maxi Plan: US$100
• Total 27 services (20 regular services + 7 free services)

To enjoy the free services, all of the plans are to be consumed within a month (e.g. purchased on January 1, to be consumed by February 1). Services include mandatory Standard Assessment (1), plus COA (1) / Valuation (1) / Identification (1) / Expedite (1) / On The Spot (3).

For example, a Micro Plan with 6 services can be used for:
• 6 Standard Assessment, or
• 3 Standard Assessment with 3 COA, or
• 1 Standard Assessment with On The Spot, COA, Valuation, or
• 3 Standard Assessment with 3 Expedite, etc.

Our list of ‘Items Checked’ is always updated. On the other hand, we do not specifically check the following items:

    1. Louis Vuitton and Chanel bags installed with microchip;
    2. Chanel series 31xxxxxx and 32xxxxxx, meaning a hologram sticker/code that starts with 31 or 32 followed by 6 numbers (i.e. 31654321, 32654321);
    3. Prada Re-Edition;
    4. Valentino bags with no code;
    5. Gucci Super Mini Marmont;
    6. Burberry Doodle Tote;
    7. Saint Laurent Lou Camera;
    8. Bottega Veneta with no code (unless vintage);
    9. Apparel, jewelry, eyewear, and VIP/gift/freebie items;
    10. For Chanel, Dior, Fendi, and Gucci scarves, those with missing tags and wash tags.

In some instances, we may check an item if they have a rubbed off code, stamping, etc., but these are upon evaluation that they are workable. In other cases, we may inform you that we can only give an inclination assessment on an item, which means we are unable to provide a Certificate of Assessment (COA) given it was only an inclination.

Please ensure that you either have the item on hand or you are capable of requesting additional photos from your seller, as we are likely to request more detailed photos. We discourage sending an item for assessment if you do not have it with you, unable to request from your seller, or had it shipped already, and then expecting a COA to be made with inadequate ones.

Again, we do not allow replacements and any request with feedback given to (e.g. request for additional photos) is already considered an on-going request with considerable time spent to have it reviewed and, therefore, non-refundable. We do not accept any replacement whatsoever, or we shall altogether discontinue delivering our services with repeated instances. Please refrain from making your own rules.

Turnaround times apply once the following are met:
1) Message has been acknowledged,
2) Payment has been confirmed, and
3) Photos are deemed complete.

You shall receive a confirmation from us that we shall message with the results within the turnaround time of the service(s) availed.
e.g. Standard Assessment (10 hours) + Certificate of Assessment (6 hours).
We work on the requests in the order these come in. While we do our best to give results much earlier than the turnaround time, it depends on the number of requests we receive, the availability of our checker, and/or the complexity of the request(s) you sent.

If you are in a hurry, you are highly encouraged to avail the add-on Expedite (additional US$5) or On-the-Spot (additional US$15). Note that this is subject to our acknowledgment mentioned in #1, given we operate from 8am to 5pm Hong Kong Time (+8 UTC).

As long as we received your photos and mentioned to be under process, you shall receive the results within the turnaround time even beyond 5pm HKT.
We only accept it payment via PayPal. Fortunately, even if you don't have a PayPal account, you may use Option 2 under the 'PayPal Payment Methods' section.
You may only use the regular payment that you have paid for. The free services, however, are forfeited.

For instance, you have paid for a Small Plan with 10 regular services + 3 free services (total of 13) on January 1, you may use the regular services whenever you please. But on February 1, the 3 services (or whatever is left of your free services) could no longer be used.
We do not allow exchanges. Please ensure to send all the needed photos . We also take our time to review your item and comprehensively advise so you can properly provide the required photos, with the quality and clarity needed.

Depending on the item and how reasonably the details can be photographed, we closely advise and exhaustively recommend the best way for these to be taken to the point they are acceptable. We'd rather not continue and issue a refund if the photos are blurry, incomplete, or inadequate.

AGREEMENT ON THE USE OF SERVICE

B101Revue is an independent authentication service and is not affiliated with the brands authenticated. The advice and opinions provided are based on a long experience and personal knowledge of buying, selling, and collecting luxury bags. We strive to provide accurate opinion on the item’s authenticity on details/photos made available to us at the time of the request, although there is always a remote possibility of error on any of our feedback, given the online nature of the assessment, relying solely on the set of online photos forwarded to us and the information available at the time of the request. Assessments are not an exact science.

As such, B101Revue cannot be held responsible for any loss that may come up from the opinions rendered or messages received. You agree to hold us harmless for any loss associated with the assessment and/or messages on your item, nor take responsibility for any violation of any local or international infringement laws and, thus, not held responsible for the abuse of said laws. 

Lastly, please be respectful. Kindly do not make your own rules.

Upon proceeding with the payment, it means you have read the information contained in this page (e.g. easy steps, items authenticated, photos needed, services and timings, payment methods, etc.), and have agreed to the terms mentioned. Note that while we also offer plans (micro, small, maxi plans), these are to be used only within 30 days. Normal services are likewise to be used within 30 days, or this will be forfeited. Please also respect the terms of the special promos you availed. Message us if you are interested to know more about these.

Please also refrain from forcing us to give specific details on what makes us assess an item as authentic or fake. We are very careful about replica makers who are on the lookout to improve fake items. We are not forcing those who contact us to seek our assessment. If you are not amenable with this arrangement, we will respect your decision not to proceed seeking our advice.

We reserve the right to: 1) refuse and accept any requests and/or payment from, or 2) discontinue delivering its services to anyone for any reason at any time.

We are a small team doing this in our spare time. While we do our best to give the value for your money with our affordable prices, you are not buying us a person. We do not condone disrespectful behavior, people who throw their weight around, unreasonable customers who fail to comply with the contents of the terms explicitly mentioned here, nor any racist remarks nor insinuations on race, and hate speech.
